Other Disturbances / Areas to Watch
There are currently no disturbances. Development is not expected through late next week.

Long-range models continue to indicate the formation of low pressure in the northwestern Caribbean Sea next weekend. The American GFS model is the only model indicating that another storm similar to Alberto may develop in the western Caribbean Sea between June 10th and June 12th. No other model is indicating any tropical development at this time. We will monitor the western Caribbean Sea later next week for signs of increasing thunderstorm activity, which would indicate increasing development potential. Development chances are estimated at 10 percent.
