Federal Pilots High Tide Restriction

Due to the presence of flocculation; effective immediately, The Federal Pilots of Louisiana recommend that any inbound vessels with a fresh water draft of 38′ or greater shall enter SWP 6 hours before high tide to 2 hours after high tide. The tanker Houston and the 750-class of ATB’s shall be exempt from this recommendation. This recommendation shall not apply to the transit of outbound vessels.
