Other Disturbances / Areas to Watch
Disturbance 56 is slowly drifting north. It is located about 1280 miles to the southeast of Bermuda. The system has a good chance of developing today. Development chances have been increased to 90 percent. The system’s northward motion is going to become more westerly over the weekend. Environmental conditions will favor strengthening this weekend and into early next week. At this time, we think the system will remain east of Bermuda due to a northward turn by the middle of the week. However, it remains too early to determine whether or not it will impact Bermuda.
