Other Disturbances / Areas to Watch
Disturbance 4 is weakening over inland areas of south Texas and northeastern Mexico and will dissipate over the next couple of days. It will enhance shower and thunderstorm activity today across the middle and lower Texas coast into northeastern Mexico.

Disturbance 7 is located over the central Caribbean along 81W. It is moving to the west at 18 mph. It remains weak and is not expected to develop. The disturbance will enhance showers and thunderstorms across Central America today into Friday.

Disturbance 8 is located over the far eastern Caribbean and the Lesser Antilles along 62W. This disturbance is moving to the west-northwest at 18 mph. This disturbance is rather weak and not expected to develop. It will enhance showers and thunderstorms across the Lesser Antilles today.

Disturbance 9 is located over the far eastern tropical Atlantic along 26W. It is moving to the west at 20 mph. There is a 10 percent chance of tropical development over the next seven days. It is unlikely to develop due to Saharan Air Layer that extends from off the coast of Africa into the tropical Atlantic. This disturbance may enhance shower and thunderstorm activity across the Windward Islands and northern portions of South America later this weekend into Monday.
