The first revetment operations on the Mississippi River Ship Channel have been delayed and are expected to start at Avondale (Mile 108 Above Head of Passes) in December 2023. The Mat Sinking Unit (MSU) is undergoing repairs and the schedule for active revetment operations will be revised once the MSU is repaired. The BRC will provide an update approximately one month prior to the start of revetment operations.
