The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Lower Mississippi River Forecast Center (LMRFC) released this update today.
“Crests are still progressing downstream and cresting conditions are expected at Vicksburg, MS for tomorrow.
The 16 day future rainfall model is showing falls on the Ohio River starting to slow down for next week and then rises for the first week of April. The April crests are below flood levels and it doesn’t impact the current flooding on the lower Mississippi River.
