As of February 28, 2022 the automation of CBP Form I-418 (Passenger List – Crew List) for vessels has gone into effect.
The rule eliminates the requirement for masters and agents to submit a paper CBP Form I-418 for commercial vessel arrivals and departures.
This includes eliminating the requirement from the vessel formal entry manifest packet.
Therefore, no paper I-418 is required as part of the entry packet and no paper I-418 is required to be submitted at the final U.S. port.
