The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) has confirmed that the revetment operations at Myrtle Grove will not be completed on February 4, 2022, as previously scheduled. The work at this site is now expected to be completed on Monday, February 7, 2022.
The updated schedule is reproduced below and shows the new working dates as provided by the USACE.
The expected transit restrictions at Myrtle Grove and Kenner Bend remain one-way transits with a slow bell.
The Mat Sinking Unit (MSU) will operate with scheduled working hours for revetment operations from 0600 hours to 1900 hours. Although, completion is dependent upon multiple factors that could mean work for the day completes before or after 1900 hours.
