Ernesto has transitioned into an extratropical storm about 420 miles west of SW Ireland. Ernesto is forecast to move into Ireland later today, bringing gusty winds and locally heavy rains. Tropical storm force winds are possible along parts of the west coast of Ireland.

Disturbance 28 has moved into the eastern Caribbean. It is along 62W. It is moving to the west at 18 mph. This general motion should continue. While the disturbance is disorganized, and there is only a 5 percent chance of tropical development, the disturbance is expected to produce locally heavy rains and wind gusts to tropical storm force today for the Windward Islands.
