The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Lower Mississippi River Forecast Center (LMRFC) released this update on river stage conditions today.
“Crests are still progressing down the lower Mississippi River and cresting conditions should reach New Orleans, LA in 1 1/2 weeks.
The USACE had to correct the stage levels at Cairo, IL today and all locations on the lower Ohio River have crested.
The 16 day future rainfall model is not showing any renew rises to flood through the first week of April.
