The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) has confirmed that the revetment operations at Myrtle Grove will start as scheduled tomorrow morning at 0600 hours (Wednesday, January 26, 2022).
The updated schedule reproduced below lists the two revetment locations on the Mississippi River Ship Channel and the expected transit restrictions for Myrtle Grove and Kenner Bend are for one-way transits with a slow bell.
The Mat Sinking Unit (MSU) will operate with scheduled working hours for revetment operations from 0600 hours to 1900 hours. Although, completion is dependent upon multiple factors that could mean work for the day completes before or after 1900 hours.
