The Tulane Association of Business Alumni will host their 41st Annual Forum on Thursday, September 17, 2020, in a virtual format as a familiar 2020 adaptation to the impacts of COVID-19 and social distancing requirements.
The Tulane Association of Business Alumni (TABA) will host its 41st annual forum and first virtual forum, “Waves of Change: Reimagining Business Growth Through a Crisis,” on Thursday, September 17, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The Tulane Business Forum features a group of renowned industry leaders who will address the adversities businesses are facing in the wake of the global pandemic and the innovative ways in which they are proving their resiliency.

The Forum features a diversified maritime panel titled, Shifting Supply Chains: Where Does That Leave Louisiana?
That panel is scheduled from 1100 hours to 1150 hours and includes a Question and Answer period.
Quentin L. Messer, Jr., CEcD, president & CEO of the New Orleans Business Alliance (New Orleans) will facilitate a panel discussion of regional maritime experts that will discuss how the pandemic has impacted how, when and why Americans buy consumer goods, and how Louisiana can capitalize on its strengths in maritime, trade, and logistics. They will also address New Orleans and the region’s current advantages, and how we can work to build into the future. Panelists will include: Paul G. Aucoin, Executive Director of the Port of South Louisiana (LaPlace); Brandy D. Christian, President & CEO of the Port of New Orleans and CEO of the New Orleans Public Belt Railroad Corp.; George E. Duffy, President & CEO of G.Duffy Maritime Services LLC (Destrehan); Sean M. Duffy, Sr., Executive Director of the Big River Coalition (Kenner); and Dr. James A. Richardson, alumni professor of economics and public administration, Louisiana State University.
The Tulane Association of Business Alumni of the A. B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University represents over 20,000 alumni worldwide, and the forum is the organization’s marquee event. Each year, the forum features speakers of national and international acclaim who address a variety of business topics across industries.
