Bar Pilot Flocculation Notice Jan. 20, 2020

Good Morning,

Due to flocculation in Southwest Pass, the Bar Pilots recommend that inbound vessels with a draft greater than 38’ transit SWP only during the period beginning six hours prior to high tide and ending two hours after high tide. As always, the final determination on transit will be left to the indiviudal pilot.

Tide tables will be in the LAMA daily report each morning for the duration of this issue, and tide information is always available HERE.
