Everyone is wondering the same thing… “When will the daylight transit restrictions be lifted?”

Simply put, “I don’t know.”

The enacting correspondence (see attached) doesn’t tie the restriction to any specific river gauge.

It states: “This emergency procedure shall remain in effect until further notice”.

The restriction was put in place by the NOBRA Board of Examiners.

I have (as many of you have also) spoken with NOBRA President Captain Steve Hathorn.

Captain Hathorn’s réponse is that ’they (the NOBRA Pilots) have not received any guidance from the Board of Examiners and will pass along any information received ASAP’.

Some of you report receiving a similar response, i.e., “I don’t know”, “We will advise”…

I wish I had a more positive or enlightening message.
