Effective October 31, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. local time, the Captain of the Port New Orleans has opened the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway from MM 18-20 West of the Harvey Locks.
Vessel operators are reminded to proceed at safe operating speeds in the vicinity of salvage operations throughout the Captain of the Port New Orleans zone.
This Marine Safety Information Bulletin (MSIB) supersedes MSIB Volume XXI Issues 063 (Port Condition NORMAL), 064 (Port Condition NORMAL – Update), 065 (Port Condition NORMAL – Update) and 067 (Port Condition NORMAL- Update).
