The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) have now completed the revetment operations at Plaquemine Bend location which was the last site for revetment operations below Baton Rouge. 

The Lower Mississippi River Vessel Traffic Service has just reopened the channel in this area without transit restrictions – normal operations.
