Mariners using the GIWW Alternate Route should continue to be aware of shoaling found in the vicinity of Buoy 22 (mile 1.7) in Baptiste Collette; refer to https://hydrosurvey.mvn.usace.army.mil/navpgs/n_outlets_at_venice.asp for the updated USACE survey of the area.
The 100-yard radius safety zone around a damaged platform in Breton Sound Block 49 (approximate position 29-27-01N / 089-17-41W) remains in effect (reference LNM 41-20).
