Large plumes of dry air and wind shear are dominating the Atlantic Basin currently. Conditions are likely to remain unfavorable across the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea, and western Atlantic for the next several days. Farther east, disorganized waves are visible from near the Lesser Antilles eastward towards the Cape Verde Islands. High westerly wind shear is likely to disrupt all wave activity; thus no development is expected from these features. No development is forecast through 7 days.
