As of 6 AM EDT / 5 AM CDT , Kirk is located about 85 miles west-northwest of St. Vincent. Recent satellite imagery indicates that its west-southwest motion has ended. It should move to the west-northwest at about 12 mph until it dissipates. Winds are estimated to be 45 mph. Kirk is likely to dissipate within the next 24 hours. Leslie remains as an extratropical storm. It is over the open Atlantic. It is expected to become a subtropical storm once again later today. It is eventually expected to become a hurricane. However, no land areas will be threatened. Please see our latest advisory for more information.
