As of 6 AM EDT / 5 AM CDT , Kirk is located about 85 miles west-northwest of St. Vincent. Recent satellite imagery indicates that its west-southwest motion has ended. It should move to the west-northwest at about 12 mph until it dissipates. Winds are estimated to be 45 mph. Kirk is likely to dissipate within the next 24 hours. Leslie
Leslie remains as an extratropical storm. It is over the open Atlantic. It is expected to become a subtropical storm once again later today. It is eventually expected to become a hurricane. However, no land areas will be threatened. Please see our latest advisory for more information.

Disturbance 42 is located about 225 miles south of Halifax, Nova Scotia. It is moving to the east-northeast near 15 mph. This motion should continue. All of the squalls are displaced south of the center. No tropical development is expected.

Disturbance 46 is located along 18.5W south of 8N. It is moving to the west-northwest near 14 mph. This motion should continue. There is a 10 percent chance of tropical development.

Disturbance 45 dissipated. It has been removed from the analysis.
