The following will be in effect at Shell Geismar when the Baton Rouge gage reaches 38 feet and rising:

Ships and Ocean Going Barges will be required to keep a minimum of one hold-in tug. Masters should seek pilot advice and use discretion when determining if additional tugs are needed.

The same is cancelled when the Baton Rouge gage reaches 38 feet and falling.
