Aircraft data indicate that there has been little change in terms of the intensity of Alberto. Maximum winds remain near 60 mph. The forecast is still for the system to move inland around midday between Panama City and Ft. Walton with 65 mph winds.
Winds of tropical storm force are expected to spread over the Florida Panhandle later this morning. The strongest winds are expected to occur fairly close to the center. They will also be confined to the immediate coast.
