This Marine Safety Information Bulletin supersedes Volume XIX, Issue 033 “Technical Amendment – Waterway Status – VTS Measure MM 127 – 129 AHP LMR, Bonnet Carré Spillway Opening.”

Effective immediately, the Bonnet Carré Anchorage is open.

Closure of the Bonnet Carré Spillway structure was completed on 27 July 2019 and an updated survey of the Bonnet Carré Anchorage was conducted on 30 July 2019.

Mariners are reminded to exercise due caution while navigating through this area.
