As a result of the latest USACE soundings, the Federal Pilots of Louisiana recommend a maximum deep draft of 41’ freshwater, for vessels transiting the LMR from MM 4.5 AHOP to MM 21.8 BHOP. The Pilots anticipate additional changes based on the current river forecast in conjunction with the the addition or subtraction of available dredges.
