Due to construction barges extending 230 ft. into the navigable waterway at ADM Growmark, MM-117.8 RDB, a VTS Measure has been established for one-way, no meetingor overtaking, between all ships and large tow boats, from MM-117.3 to MM-118.3. In addition, slowest safe speed and minimal wake are required.
The construction barges are properly lit. There will be a contact boat on scene, M/V MISS LAURIE, after 0300 Friday, June 29.
