Other Disturbances / Areas to Watch
We have designated a part of the stationary front over the Mid Atlantic United States as Disturbance 10. An area of low pressure is expected to form along the front in the shaded region on the map by tomorrow morning. There is a 20 percent chance of tropical or subtropical development from this system. However, it is expected to move to the northeast, away from the United States. The low is also expected to remain south of Atlantic Canada. Regardless of tropical development, gale force winds are likely within 150 miles to the east of the low center.

Disturbance 9 is along 76W in the Central Caribbean. It will continue to move quickly west to west-northwest. No development is expected in the Caribbean. However, there is a 50 percent chance of development in the Pacific.
