Other Disturbances / Areas to Watch
Disturbance 4 continues to drift farther inland into south Texas this morning. It will enhance shower and thunderstorm activity across the far western Gulf of Mexico (west of 94W), the Texas coastal plains, and northeastern Mexico through Thursday.

Disturbance 7 is located over the central Caribbean along 76W. It is moving to the west at 23 mph. It remains weak and is not expected to develop. The disturbance will enhance showers and thunderstorms across northern Colombia today and across Central America on Thursday.

Disturbance 8 has been identified along 56W. This disturbance is moving to the west-northwest at 20 mph. This disturbance is rather weak and is not expected to develop. It will enhance showers and thunderstorms across the Lesser Antilles on Thursday into Friday.

Disturbance 9 has been identified over the far eastern tropical Atlantic along 24W. It is moving to the west at 20 mph. This disturbance is not expected to develop over the next several days as it encounters the Saharan Air Layer which extends into the middle tropical Atlantic. This disturbance may enhance shower and thunderstorm activity across northeastern portions of South America and the Windward Islands late this weekend into early next week.
