** Update** The 10-hour closure for Grosse Tete bridge testing has been rescheduled from September 12th, 2024, to September 18th, 2024, due to the impending TS FRANCINE.

MSIB XXIV-068

1. The Captain of the Port New Orleans is establishing a safety zone for the waters of the Port Allen – Morgan City Alternate Route. Mariners are advised that MM 45 – MM 47 on the Port Allen alternate route will be closed to all marine traffic on September 12^th from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. for bridge repairs and testing.
2. Vessels are not to enter the closed area without approval from the Captain of the Port New Orleans.
