1. The Captain of the Port New Orleans is issuing a safety advisory for the waters of the Morgan City – Port Allen Alternate Route at mile marker (MM) 63.7 adjacent to the Port Allen Lock. This advisory is needed to protect persons and vessels from the potential safety hazards associated with construction activities on the LA-1 Bridge.
2. Mariners are advised that the Morgan City – Port Allen Alternate Route will be closed at MM 63.7 from July 20 8:00pm – July 21 4:00am with alternate dates of July 22 8:00pm – July 23 4:00amif construction operations are delayed due to weather.
