The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Captain of the Port New Orleans will enforce the below safety zone within the Captain of the Port New Orleans area of responsibility. This safety zone is needed to protect persons and vessels from the potential safety hazards associated with a fireworks display.
- Red Stick Revelry Fireworks Display
- Date and time: December 31, 2023, from 11:45 p.m. until January 1, 2024 at 12:30 a.m.
- Location: Mile Marker (MM) 229.5 to MM 230, near Downtown Baton Rouge.
- Designated Representative: Daryl Armentor; Contact via VHF-FM Channels 16 or 67.
