On July 20, 2023, the CBP Port Director, New Orleans, issued Southern Currents 23-021 soliciting comments on a request from Dupuy Storage and Forwarding, the operator of the Port of New Orleans’ CES, to change the CES Fee Schedule. Comments were due in writing within 30 calendar days from the date of the trade notice.
No comments were received by the Port Director regarding this matter. The Port Director has determined that the fee increase request is reasonable and is approved in accordance with 19 C.F.R. § 118.5. The fee increase is effective on October 1, 2023.
