The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) will not work revetment operations at the Reserve location (Mile 138.7 Above Head of Passes) tomorrow. The scheduled work day has been cancelled due to the impacts of severe weather expected to pass through the area.

The USACE Mat Sinking Unit (MSU) has been moored out of the way and will have no impact to navigation transiting through this reach of the Ship Channel until resuming operations at the Reserve location at 0600 hours on Monday, January 2, 2023.

The USACE now expects to work revetments at the Reserve location from January 2nd to January 4th and will then move downriver to commence work at Greenville Bend (Mile 99.8 AHP) on Thursday, January 5, 2023.
