The Big River Coalition’s Corps 2022 Revetment Schedule and Transit Restrictions Update 111022 is here for your reference.

The updated schedule of work as provided by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) today, November 10, 2022 is here..

The revetment operations on the Mississippi River Ship Channel are scheduled to resume at the Reserve (Mile 138.7 Above Head of Passes) location on December 1 (2022).

Please note that the transit restrictions at the remaining two White Castle locations will not allow deep-draft or ship transits through the revetment locations during working hours (0600 hours to 1900 hours) on the dates of work as listed. The developed restrictions are: “No deep-draft or ship transits during working hours. MSU to fold in at night.”

The latest schedule of work from the USACE and the U.S. Coast Guard’s Marine Safety Information Bulletin (MSIB) detailing the transit restrictions for the revetment locations are both attached. Please note the dates in the MSIB are not being updated to match the frequent changes to the revetment schedule, but will be covered in the appropriate Vessel Traffic Service Lower Mississippi River – LMR Restrictions 5 Day Outlook documents the USCG has been issuing daily to address the multiple projects on the Ship Channel that continue to have impacts on navigation.
