UPDATE 6 NOV 2020 at 0833 LOCAL:

Effective immediately, the Marine Desk located on the Customhouse first floor, 423 Canal Street, Suite 186, has reopened.

The affected Customhouse areas have been sanitized out of an abundance of caution due to COVID-19.  We have no information that the CBP employee has been in close contact with anyone from industry.

ORIGINAL NOTICE: Effective immediately (5 NOV 2020 at 1013 LOCAL), the Marine Desk located on the Customhouse first floor, 423 Canal Street, Suite 186, will temporarily relocate because a CBP employee has tested positive for COVID-19 and the area will be sanitized.

The Customhouse is being sanitized out of an abundance of caution due to COVID-19.  We have no information that the CBP employee has been in close contact with anyone from industry.  CBP New Orleans is open for business.

Temporary Marine Desk information is as follows:

All Marine Division functions will be performed at the airport during normal marine division hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.  E-Mail Entrances and Clearances are in effect.

Notification will be sent once the area is sanitized.
