All: Due to the multiple ships dragging and snagging other anchors on the bottom, pilots are having to re-anchor Almost every ship anchored in General. The Crescent River Pilot’s Safe Navigation Committee is recommending to immediately discontinue using General Anchorage except for an emergency until the Carrollton Gauge falls to 15ft. The ships that are presently there will not be ordered to relocate unless there are problems with them . Any questions , please do not hesitate to call.
