The M/T Libramont is aground at MM 178, LDB, AHOP.
One-way traffic is in effect between MM 177 and MM 179. Vessels are to proceed at slowest safest speed.

Due to a grounding of the M/T Libramont MM178, LDB, AHOP, VTC has established a Vessel Traffic Service (VTS) Measure for the waters of the Lower Mississippi River from Mile 177 Above Head of Passes (AHP) to Mile 179 AHP. This Measure is needed to protect persons and vessels from the potential safety hazards associated with the vessel aground. This Measure is in effect with the following provisions:
All vessels are restricted to one-way traffic and slowest safe speed between Mile Marker 177 and 179 Above Head of Passes until further notice. All vessels of significant size , to be determined by the VTS and the Pilot on board the vessel, will be evaluated on a case by case bases.
