Oscar is likely peaking in strength this morning as it accelerates off to the northeast, well southeast of Bermuda. Oscar is forecast to become extratropical by Thursday. The system may bring strong winds to Ireland and the British Isles as a strong extratropical cyclone by late Friday into Saturday.
