Leslie is expected to meander over the subtropical Atlantic through this week. It will strengthen as a non-tropical low over the next few days. Disturbance 42 has remained weak as it tracks near the North Carolina Outer Banks. It may bring a few showers and thunderstorms to the Outer Banks this morning. Development chances are decreasing. Development chances in our most recent advisory were 30 percent. However, these development chances are now estimated to be 20 percent.
