There is no intent to issue blanket Detain on Board orders on all vessels.

The information passed was meant as a reminder that crew members are to remain on board vessels until CBP Boarding Officers are able to board and issue shore passes.

While some CPB personnel are being deployed; CBP Boarding Officers are available and vessel boardings will continue as before.

Industry members are reminded that multiple cruise vessels arrive/depart on the weekends.

These vessels require more of the CBP Boarding Officers and tends to create longer wait times for other vessels.
