The M/V Atlantic Ensenada is aground at MM228.6, RDB, AHOP.
The USCG VTS has issued the following:
All vessels are restricted to one-way traffic between Mile Marker 228 and 229 Above Head of Passes until further notice.
All vessels of significant size, to be determined by the VTS and the Pilot on board the vessel, will be evaluated on a case by case bases.

Due to a grounding of the M/V Atlantic Ensenada MM228.6, RDB, AHOP, VTC has established a Vessel Traffic Service (VTS) Measure for the waters of the Lower Mississippi River from Mile 228 Above Head of Passes (AHP) to Mile 229 AHP. This Measure is needed to protect persons and vessels from the potential safety hazards associated with the vessel aground. This Measure is in effect with the following provisions:
