Other Disturbances / Areas to Watch
We continue to monitor the potential for an area of low pressure to materialize off the North Carolina Coast on Wednesday. We cannot rule out the system briefly acquiring tropical characteristics on Wednesday and Thursday before being absorbed by a frontal boundary. It will track northeast and away from the coast. Therefore, impacts to coastal North Carolina will be minimal. The chance of development is less than percent.
Disturbance 9 is along 76W in the Central Caribbean. It will continue to move quickly west to west-northwest. The system will remain weak and not develop.
Disturbance 8 has fallen apart. Disturbance 7 has moved inland. Therefore, both systems have been removed from our analysis.
