The following was received from the USCG Port State Control Supervisor:

In the past week, we have had 2 vessels depart the river while under COTP Order restricting such action.

In both cases, the agents failed to communicate to the vessel.
Agents should be reminded that they share responsibility in ensuring vessel’s under COTP Order are informed as they are the direct representative of the vessel while in our port.
We are also working on our end for better communications.
