  1. PURPOSE

The purpose of this trade notice is to invite written comments regarding the one (1) CES application received.  Comments must be received in writing within 30 calendar days from the date of this trade notice, March 30, 2021.

  1. BACKGROUND

By trade notice # 21-001, dated October 1, 2020, notice was given seeking applications to operate a CES in the Port of New Orleans.  This application submission period closed December 1, 2020.

There is one (1) application to be considered.  Prior to a decision being made regarding a selection, as set forth in 19 C.F.R. §118.12, the public is invited to submit written comments to the Customs Port Director regarding this application.

  1. ACTION

As directed by 19 C.F.R §118.12, the public must be advised of the name of the applicant, the address of the proposed facility to be operated as a CES, the number of employees to be involved in the proposed CES operation, the list of equipment at the proposed facility and the proposed fee schedule.

The CES applicant and the address of the proposed CES facility is as follows:

The number of employees involved in the proposed Dupuy Storage and Forwarding CES Operation is 5.

The list of equipment at the proposed facility is as follows:

Forklifts:

  • Hyster S80XM 8000 lb
  • Hyster S80FT 8000 LB
  • 2 x Hyster S50FT 5000 lb
  • Hyster 60FT 6000 lb

Forklift Attachments:

  • Forks (48” & 96”)
  • Single Double forks

Trucks:

  • 2019 Ottawa Yard Truck

Dupuy Storage and Forwarding has confirmed their ability to obtain (purchase/rent/contract) the necessary equipment to unload and reload all types of cargo designated for CBP inspection.

Please find attached Dupuy Storage and Forwarding’s proposed CES fee schedule.

As previously written, the public is invited to submit written comments within 30 calendar days from the date of this Trade Notice.  March 1, 2021 – March 30, 2021.
