Other Disturbances / Areas to Watch
Disturbance 57 is producing showers and thunderstorms across the islands of the northeast Caribbean this morning as it tracks steadily west-northwestward. These showers and thunderstorms will spread into the Dominican Republic and Haiti this afternoon and into the Turks and Caicos Islands tonight. Strong wind shear should prevent any tropical development. Development chances have dropped below 10 percent.

An approaching cold front is predicted to steer the disturbance north and northeastward as it nears the central Bahamas on Thursday.
