Other Disturbances / Areas to Watch
Disturbance 57 is along 54W. The system will likely remain disorganized as it tracks west-northwest through an unfavorable environment over the next couple of days. It will enhance shower and thunderstorm activity over the eastern and northeastern Caribbean through Tuesday or Wednesday.

By the middle of the week, the system may encounter more favorable conditions when it is north of the Caribbean and east of the Bahamas. It has a 50 percent chance of developing during this time. However, the weather pattern in place strongly favors taking the system out to sea and away from land. At this time, it does not appear to be a significant threat to land.
