Disturbance 53 is located over Nicaragua and Honduras. It is moving to the west near 15 mph. The disturbance is expected to move into the eastern Pacific. Scattered showers and storms are likely today for Nicaragua and Honduras. Tropical development is not expected.

Disturbance 55 is located about 300 miles east of Trinidad. It is moving slightly north of due west near 17 mph. There are no signs of organization. Environmental conditions are unfavorable for development. No development is expected. Enhanced rains are likely today for the southern Windward Islands.
