Other Disturbances / Areas to Watch
Disturbance 4 is moving into Texas today. It will enhance shower and thunderstorm activity across southern and coastal Texas and northeast Mexico through at least the middle of the week. The primary concern for Texas and Mexico is heavy rainfall and areas of flooding. Over the far western Gulf of Mexico (west of 93W), areas of showers and storms will likely persist through at least Wednesday. Some of the strongest thunderstorms could produce wind gusts up to 50 kts (60 mph). The development potential from this system is quite low (10 percent).

Disturbance 7 is along 60W. It remains weak and is not expected to develop. A westward motion is expected to continue. The disturbance will enhance shower and thunderstorm activity over the Lesser Antilles today
