The American GFS model continues to show possible tropical development in the western Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico by the middle of the month. However, we are skeptical that the model has a good handle on the mid-month weather pattern. Therefore, we are not too concerned about this possible system at this time. We will continue to monitor the situation closely.
