SUBJECT: Mobile 368 Presentation Scheduled

As part of CBP’s Revenue Modernization Initiatives, representatives from CBP Headquarters will be hosting a presentation of the Mobile Collection Receipts (MCR) application on January 20 at the New Orleans Seaport. MCR automates the 368 manual cash receipt and the 1002 Tonnage Tax Receipt, allowing for payments to be accepted in a mobile environment.

As CBP prepares to pilot this new technology, we are looking to CBP frontline employees and supervisors, as well as trade representatives to provide input and feedback that will help maximize the effectiveness and ease of implementing this new technology.

As we continue to transform this process, CBP will ensure that MCR focuses on eliminating manual processes, simplifying error correction, integrating with other systems of record, and providing additional payment options for the trade. We are excited to automate these paper processes, saving time and improving accuracy as we continue to develop the application.

Please consider joining us for a special presentation on the Mobile Collections Receipt pilot, set to rollout at the New Orleans Seaport in March 2017.
