SUBJECT: STEEL IDENTIFICATION, CLASSIFICATION & TRADE LAW SEMINAR, APRIL 13-14, 2016

PURPOSE:
The Port of New Orleans is pleased to announce an updated Steel Identification, Classification and Trade Law Seminar as conducted on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 (all day), and Thursday, April 14, 2016 (from 8:30 a.m. — concluding at 12:00 pm). The program, presented by technical, commercial and legal experts from the steel industry, aims to increase the knowledge level of U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials, other U.S. Government Officials and Customhouse Brokers regarding steel importations. Please note that the seminar program has been significantly modified revised and restructured from previous seminars held in Houston and other ports, including new material on fraud, circumvention and evasion, plus expanded information on current issues.

ACTION:
An invitation with more specific registration information is attached. Attendance is FREE. Please register early to assure a confirmed acceptance of your registration. Space is limited. Each interested participant must register in order to attend this free seminar.
